Language Arts
(11/30-12/4) We will review
Subject-verb agreement and Pattern 2 sentences before taking a quiz on Thursday 12/3. Please be sure that the independent reading continues.
The next deadline for completion is December 7, 2009. Students are to write short summaries of the main story events/ideas
for each chapter. This is to be completed in their Literature journals under Independent Reading.
Math :
Week of November 9: We wil be reviewing for Wednesday's test on Unit 3. On Thursday we will
begin Unit 4, Rational Number Uses and Operations. The new parent letter and homework sheets will be given out.

Ancient History
(11/30-12/4) Students will complete their creative Egyptian
writing projects and present them on Wednesday. We will learn about the Hittites and continue reading Hittite Warrior,
Chapters 3 - 5. There will be minimal homework this week, so please check student planners.
Week of November 9: On Wednesday
there will be a quiz on lessons 1-4 of unit 3. The science article is due Monday. We will be reviewing on Monday
and Tuesday.
